Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: 100% Remote (US-Based)

About the Role

Paydex Technologies is seeking a 100% remote Senior Accountant based in the United States. In this corporate accounting, general ledger, and financial reporting role, you will own the month-end close process, maintain GL integrity, manage reconciliations, and ensure GAAP compliance across all business operations.

Responsibilities:

• Own the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, preparing accruals, journal entries, and financial consolidations.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, variance analyses, and bank reconciliations to ensure general ledger accuracy.
• Prepare monthly financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow) in accordance with US GAAP.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll audit workflows in collaboration with internal teams.
• Support external audit requests, tax filing preparations, and internal financial control reviews.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of general ledger, corporate accounting, or public accounting experience.
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP standards and financial reporting requirements.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, complex modeling) and modern cloud accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, or Sage).
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction or employer sponsorship.
